Buckingham Palace

The Queen was represented by the Lord Shuttleworth KG (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire) at the Memorial Service for the Lord Waddington (formerly Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Bermuda, Lord Privy Seal and Leader of the House of Lords and Secretary of State for the Home Department) which was held in St Mary Magdalene Church, Clitheroe, Lancashire, this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today carried out engagements in Ottawa, Canada.

The Prince of Wales this morning received the Rt Hon Justin Trudeau MP (Prime Minister of Canada) at Rideau Hall.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall opened the Canadian History Hall at the Canadian History Museum.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards attended Canada Day Celebrations at Parliament Hill to mark the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada and were received by the Governor-General of Canada (the Rt Hon David Johnston) and the Prime Minister of Canada.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited the National Arts Centre.

His Royal Highness later visited the Shopify Headquarters.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening inaugurated The Queen’s Entrance at Rideau Hall and afterwards attended a Canada Day Reception given by the Governor-General of Canada and Mrs Johnston at Rideau Hall.

Their Royal Highnesses this evening departed from Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport for the United Kingdom.

The Princess Royal, Prime Warden the Fishmongers’ Company, this morning opened the Britten Building and presented Speech Day Awards at Gresham’s School, Cromer Road, Holt, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk (Mr Richard Jewson).
