The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Anglian Regiment, this morning received Lieutenant-Colonel Keith Spiers upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer 3rd Battalion and Lieutenant-Colonel Matthew Woodeson upon assuming the appointment.

Major-General Simon Porter (Deputy Colonel 3rd Battalion) was present.

Buckingham Palace

Princess Alexandra, Patron and Air Chief Commandant, Princess Mary’s Air Force Nursing Service, this afternoon presented the Princess Alexandra Trophy to Corporal James Campling at Buckingham Palace.

Group Captain Michael Priestley (Matron-in-Chief, Princess Mary’s Royal Air Force Nursing Service) was present.

Her Royal Highness, Vice Patron, the Royal Over-Seas League, later received Major-General Roderick Porter upon relinquishing his appointment as Director-General.
