The Duke of York today carried out the following engagements in the Sultanate of Oman.

His Royal Highness, Executive Chairman, Outward Bound Trust, this morning attended a reception to open a desert training centre for Outward Bound Oman at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Muscat.

The Duke of York, Deputy Colonel in Chief, The Royal Lancers, later presented the Armourers and Braziers Award for best Royal Armoured Corps Troop Leader at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Oman.

His Royal Highness this afternoon departed Muscat International airport for the United Arab Emirates and this afternoon arrived at Abu Dhabi International Airport and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (His Excellency Mr Philip Parham).
