The Queen held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Duke of York, Visitor, this morning visited Horris Hill School, Horris Hill, Newtown, Newbury, and was received by Mrs Joan Ferrer (Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Sense, this morning visited the Bourne Day Service, Unit 1, South Fen Business Park, South Fen Road, Bourne, and was received by Lady Benton-Jones (Deputy Lieutenant of Lincolnshire).

Her Royal Highness subsequently opened Heckington Windmill Trust’s Renovated Mill, Heckington Windmill, 6 Hale Road, Heckington, Sleaford, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire (Mr Toby Dennis).

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Lintran, Brentwood House, Lincoln Road, Faldingworth, Market Rasen, to mark their Thirtieth Anniversary, and opened their new premises, and was received by Mr Roger Douglas (Deputy Lieutenant of Lincolnshire).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Oxford Bus Museum, Old Railway Station Yard, Main Road, Long Hanborough, and was received by Mr John Harwood (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).

His Royal Highness, Royal Patron, today attended Blenheim Palace Festival of Literature, Film and Music, Woodstock.

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Blenheim Palace Festival of Literature, Film and Music, this evening attended a Dinner at Blenheim Palace.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint the Reverend Dr James Hawkey to be a Chaplain to Her Majesty.
