The Prince of Wales this morning visited areas of Eglinton that have been affected by the floods and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Co Londonderry (Mr Denis Desmond).

His Royal Highness, Patron, The Prince’s Countryside Fund, afterwards visited the Young Men’s Christian Association in Drumahoe, Co Londonderry, to meet local people and farmers affected by flooding.

The Duke of York, Chairman of Trustees, Lakefield College School Foundation, this morning visited Lakefield College School, Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.

His Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon visited the Canadian Canoe Museum, Peterborough, Ontario.

The Princess Royal this morning visited Lawrie and Symington Limited, Muirglen, Hyndford Road, Lanark, to mark the 150th anniversary of the Livestock Auction Market and was received by Mr Gavin Whitefield (Deputy Lieutenant of Lanarkshire).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Citizens Advice Scotland, later visited Rutherglen and Cambuslang Citizens Advice Bureau, Kyle Court, Main Street, Cambuslang, to mark their 50th anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lanarkshire (Mr Mushtaq Ahmad).
