Buckingham Palace
The Queen this morning visited HMS Sutherland at Thames Dock in the Pool of London to mark the Twentieth Anniversary of the Ship’s commissioning and was received by the Commanding Officer (Commander Andrew Canale RN).
Her Majesty, accompanied by the Commanding Officer, attended a Reception with the Ship’s Company, families and former Commanding Officers before embarking in HMS Sutherland.
The Queen met the aircrew of a Wildcat helicopter before being entertained to Luncheon by the Commanding Officer.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, The Prince’s Trust Australia, this morning received Mrs Janine Kirk (Chief Executive) at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.
His Royal Highness, Founder and President, afterwards held a Meeting with The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community.
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, this afternoon received Board Members of The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts.
His Royal Highness later received Miss Roseanna Cunningham MSP (Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform).
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, Business in the Community, subsequently held a Meeting.
His Royal Highness this evening held a Dinner for his charities.
Kensington Palace
Prince Henry of Wales today visited Lancashire and was received by Colonel Alan Jolley (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire).
His Royal Highness this morning visited the Veteran’s UK Service, Norcross, Thornton-Cleveleys.
Prince Henry of Wales afterwards met those affected by the 2015 floods at the Village Hall, Blackpool Road, St Michael’s on Wyre.
His Royal Highness later visited the MyPlace Project at Brockholes Nature Reserve, Preston New Road, Samlesbury.
Prince Henry of Wales subsequently visited the Sir Tom Finney Soccer Centre and the Lancashire Bomber Wheelchair Basketball Club at the University of Central Lancashire Sports Arena, Tom Benson Way, Preston.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon arrived at Antananarivo Ivato International Airport, Madagascar, and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Madagascar (His Excellency Mr Timothy Smart).
Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, was received later by The President of the Republic of Madagascar at Iavoloha Palace, Palais d’Etat, Iavoloha, Antananarivo.
The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening presented Awards at Iavoloha Palace to young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
Afterwards Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, was entertained to Dinner by The President of the Republic of Madagascar at Iavoloha Palace.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, St. George’s Society of New York, this evening attended a Dinner at the Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, London W1.
