Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Renatas Norkus was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Lithuania to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Sandra Smaidryte was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Julius Peter Moto was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Uganda in London.

Mrs Moto was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The Queen afterwards received Dr Astrid Bonfield (Chief Executive, The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust) and Dr Andrew Bastawrous (Chief Executive Officer, the Peek Vision Foundation and Peek Vision Limited).
