COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

Mrs Justice Knowles, Mrs Justice Moulder and Mrs Justice Yip were received by The Queen today upon their appointment as Justices of the High Court when Her Majesty invested them with the Insignia of Dames Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Mr Justice Bryan, Mr Justice Choudhury, Mr Justice Cohen, Mr Justice Knowles, Mr Justice Lane, Mr Justice Nicklin, Mr Justice Smith, Mr Justice Spencer and Mr Justice Williams were received by The Queen upon their appointment as Justices of the High Court when Her Majesty conferred upon them the honour of Knighthood and invested them with the Insignia of Knights Bachelor.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning departed Singapore Changi Airport for Brunei and were received this afternoon upon arrival at Brunei International Airport by The Crown Prince of Brunei and the British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam (His Excellency Mr Richard Lindsay).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Edinburgh Palace and The Prince of Wales inspected the Guard of Honour formed by 2nd Battalion Royal Gurkha Rifles, British Forces Brunei.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were subsequently received by The Sultan of Brunei and The Raja Isteri at Istana Nurul Imam.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards remained to Tea with the Royal Family of Brunei and senior Government ministers.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall later departed Brunei International Airport for Malaysia.

The Crown Prince and Princess of Brunei were present at the Airport and bade farewell to Their Royal Highnesses.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and were received by the British High Commissioner to Malaysia (Her Excellency Mrs Victoria Treadell).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, President, the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, this afternoon held a Tea at Kensington Palace for the Royal Marsden Hospital Clinical Care and Research Centre Appeal Board.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Tusk Trust, this evening attended a Dinner at the Roundhouse, Chalk Farm Road, London NW1, and was received by Ms Roxane Zand (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of York, Founder, Pitch@Palace, this morning held a Scale Up Chief Executive Officers Forum.

His Royal Highness, Founder, Pitch@Palace, this afternoon received Mr David Lubotta (Director, Sygnus Ventures Incorporated).

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, today undertook the following engagements.

His Royal Highness this morning visited the International School of Prague, Nebusicka 700, Prague, Czech Republic.

The Earl of Wessex afterwards departed from Vaclav Havel Airport, Prague, for Slovakia and was received upon arrival at Bratislava Airport this afternoon by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Slovak Republic (His Excellency Mr Andrew Garth).

His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Luncheon for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Leaders given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Slovak Republic at the British Embassy, Pazickeho 1, Bratislava.

The Earl of Wessex later attended an Award Ceremony at the Slovak Parliament, Zupne nam, Bratislava.

The President of the Slovak Republic this evening visited His Royal Highness at the Hotel Sheraton, Pribinova, Bratislava.

The Earl of Wessex afterwards attended a Meeting followed by Dinner at the Hotel Sheraton.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited Edward Edwards’ Almshouses, Edward Edwards’ House, Nicholson Street, London SE1, to mark the Three Hundredth Anniversary of Southwark Charities and was received by Lieutenant Colonel Simon Duckworth (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Wooden Spoon Society, this afternoon held a Luncheon at Buckingham Palace.

The Princess Royal, President, the City and Guilds of London Institute, afterwards presented The Princess Royal Training Awards at St James’s Palace.

Her Royal Highness, Prime Warden, the Fishmongers’ Company, this evening attended the Wardens’ Dinner for Livery Sporting Societies, at Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Holly Beds Farm, Worcester Road, Earls Croome, and was received by the Hon Lady Morrison (Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire).

His Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of Worcester, this afternoon attended the Graduate Award Ceremony for the Institute of Science and the Environment, in Worcester Cathedral.

The Duke of Gloucester, Chancellor, later attended a Reception at the University of Worcester, Hylton Road, Worcester.
