COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Adrian O’Neill was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Ireland to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs O’Neill was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Robert Wood Johnson was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the United States of America to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Johnson was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

Dr Laurence Bristow was received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon his appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation.

Mrs Bristow was also received by Her Majesty.

The Queen this afternoon visited the British Museum, Great Russell Street, London WC1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa), the Chairman of the British Museum (Sir Richard Lambert) and Mr Hartwig Fischer (Director).

Her Majesty toured the Sir Joseph Hotung Gallery of China and South Asia, escorted by Sir Joseph Hotung (Trustee Emeritus), before re-opening the Gallery.

The Rt Hon Theresa May MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen later this afternoon.

Her Majesty was represented by The Duke of Kent at the Memorial Commemoration for Sir Ewen Fergusson (formerly Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the French Republic) which was held at the National Gallery, London WC2, this evening.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Sir Peter Westmacott.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning departed Penang International Airport, Malaysia, for India and were received this afternoon upon arrival at Palam Technical Airport, New Delhi, by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of India (His Excellency Sir Dominic Asquith).

His Royal Highness, Vice-President, the British Council, and Her Royal Highness later attended a performance by representatives from 2017 United Kingdom India Year of Culture at the British Council, 17 Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, Joint Presidents, the Elephant Family, afterwards attended a Reception at the Residence of the British High Commissioner to the
Republic of India.

Their Royal Highnesses this evening called upon Mr Narendra Modi (Prime Minister of India) at Hyderabad House.

The Prince of Wales afterwards attended a Dinner at Hyderabad House.

The Duke of Cambridge this afternoon attended a Reception with the Passage, at the
Goring Hotel, 15 Beeston Place, London SW1.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, Place2Be, today attended a School Leaders Forum at UBS Wealth Management, 5 Broadgate, London EC2.

Kensington Palace

Prince Henry of Wales, on behalf of The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel-in-Chief, The Rifles, this evening attended The Rifles’ Regimental Awards Dinner at Guildhall, Gresham Street, London EC2.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Chairman of the Trustees, Outward Bound Trust, and The Prince of Monaco this morning attended the inaugural Prince’s Cup Rowing Race at the Yacht Club de Monaco.

His Royal Highness and His Serene Highness this afternoon attended a Luncheon for the Ninetieth Anniversary of the Monte Carlo Club, at the Hermitage Hotel, Monaco.

The Duke of York later arrived at Royal Air Force Northolt from Monaco.

Captain Edward Monckton was in attendance.

The Countess of Wessex, President, Devon County Agricultural Association, this morning attended Agrifest, Westpoint, Clyst St Mary, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr David Fursdon).

Her Royal Highness, President, Devon County Agricultural Association, this afternoon visited Darts Farm, Topsham, Devon.

The Princess Royal, Visitor, this morning visited Strathcarron Hospice, Randolph Hill, Denny, Stirlingshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk (Mr Alan Simpson).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Scotland’s Churches Trust, this afternoon attended the Annual Reception in Dunblane Cathedral and was received by Mrs Patricia Greenhill (Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk).

The Princess Royal, Prime Warden, the Fishmongers’ Company, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Livery Dinner at Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4.

The Duke of Gloucester, President, Christ’s Hospital, this morning received Mr Simon Reid upon assuming his appointment as Headmaster.
