His Excellency Mr Rami Mortada was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Lebanese Republic to the Court of St James’s.

Her Majesty this afternoon attended a Service at St Mary’s Church, Upper Street, Islington, London N1, to commemorate the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Scripture Union and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa), the President of Scripture Union (the Right Reverend Paul Butler), the Chairman (Mr Keith Civval) and the Reverend Timothy Hastie-Smith (National Director).
