The following were received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Miss Katherine Smith (the Hellenic Republic) and Mrs. Louise de Sousa (the Tunisian Republic).

Mr. Allan de Sousa was also received by Her Majesty.

The following were received in audience by The Queen upon their appointment as British High Commissioners: Mr. Nigel Casey (the Republic of South Africa) and Mrs. Janet Douglas (Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean).

Mrs. Casey and Mr. George Furlong were also received by Her Majesty.

The Rt. Hon. Theresa May MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

The Duke of Cambridge, Royal Patron, this afternoon attended a Child Bereavement UK Lunch at Annabel’s, 46 Berkeley Square, London W1.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, this morning convened a Symposium on Early Intervention at the Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, London W1.

The Duke of York this morning opened the Faculty of Business and Law, University of the West of England, Frenchay Campus, Coldharbour Lane, Bristol, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Harwell Campus, Science and Technology Facilities Council, this afternoon visited the Joint European Torus, United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, Culham Science Centre, Abingdon, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire (Mr. Timothy Stevenson).

The Duke of York, Patron, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, this evening held a Concert and gave a Dinner for supporters at Buckingham Palace.

The Princess Royal, Patron, British Universities and Colleges Sport, this afternoon attended the British Universities and Colleges Sport Team Championship Finals at the University of Nottingham, University Park, Nottingham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire (Sir John Peace).

Her Royal Highness, Honorary Member, this evening attended the Smeatonian Society of Civil Engineers Discussion Dinner at One Great George Street, London SW1, and was received by Dr. Paul Knapman (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
