Buckingham Palace

The Queen held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Marshal of the Royal Air Force the Lord Craig of Radley (formerly Chief of the Air Staff and Air Aide-de-Camp) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Air Chief Marshal Sir Peter Squire (formerly Chief of the Air Staff and Air Aide-de-Camp) which was held at St Clement Dane’s Church, London WC2, this morning.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Marshal of the Royal Air Force the Lord Stirrup KG.

The Duke of Kent was represented by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Mr Angus Campbell (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Lord Digby (formerly Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset) which was held in Sherborne Abbey, Dorset, this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Captain Michael Fulford-Dobson RN.

The Duke of York was represented by Brigadier Hugh Pye.

The Princess Royal was represented by Leonora, Countess of Lichfield.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by Mr James Gibson Fleming.

The Duke of Kent was represented by Mr Nicolas Adamson.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning called upon Mr Cai Qi (Communist Party Secretary for Beijing and Member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China) at Diaoyutai State Guest House, 2 Fucheng Road, Haidian, Beijing, China.

His Royal Highness later called upon Mr Jiang Jianguo (Vice Minister of the Publication Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China) at Diaoyutai State Guest House.

The Duke of York, Founder, Pitch@Palace, today held Pitch@Palace China 2.0 at Diaoyutai State Guest House.
