The Duke of York, Visitor, this afternoon attended Speech Day at Royal Hospital School, Holbrook, Ipswich, and presented a Pikestaff to commemorate the Centenary of the School carrying The Queen’s Banner, and was received by Dr Michael Lynch (Deputy Lieutenant of Suffolk).

The Princess Royal, having been received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Clwyd (Mr Henry Fetherstonhaugh), this morning took the salute at the March Past in Llandudno on National Armed Forces Day and, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, afterwards visited Military Capability Stands.

The Duke of Kent this afternoon visited Charters School, Charters Road, Sunningdale, Ascot, Berkshire, to mark its Sixtieth Anniversary.
