Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, Royal Patron, TuskTrust, this afternoon visited the Tusk Rhino Trail in Kensington Palace Gardens, London W8.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning departed from Farnborough Airport, Hampshire, for Hungary and was received upon arrival at Budapest Airport by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Hungary (His Excellency Mr Iain Lindsay) and the Hungarian Ambassador to the Court of St James’s (Mr Kristof Szalay-Bobrovniczky).

His Royal Highness this afternoon called upon The President of the Republic of Hungary at the Sandor Palace, Budapest.

The Duke of York, Patron, the Institution of Civil Engineers, later visited the Academy of Sciences, Budapest.

His Royal Highness afterwards called upon Mr Peter Szijjarto (Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Budapest.

The Duke of York subsequently called upon Mr Viktor Orban (Prime Minister of the Republic of Hungary) at the Hungarian Parliament Building, Budapest.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception for the British Community at the Residence of Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Hungary in Budapest.

The Duke of York later received His Excellency Mr Nguyen Phu Trong (General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam) at the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace, Budapest.

His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Business Dinner given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Hungary at the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for the United States of America.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon attended a Meeting at the Residence of Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the United States of America (His Excellency Sir Kim Darroch) in Washington DC.

Mr Timothy Roberts is in attendance.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Butler Trust, this morning visited HM Prison Risley, Warrington Road, Risley, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Mr David Briggs).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Safety Central Lifeskills Education Centre, Cliff Lane, Lymm, Cheshire.

The Princess Royal afterwards visited Headway, Worcestershire’s Brain Injury Centre, at the Mill, Gregory Mill Street, Worcester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire (Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Holcroft).

Her Royal Highness, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Brize Norton, later received Group Captain Timothy Jones upon relinquishing his appointment as Station Commander and Group Captain Daniel James upon assuming the appointment.
