The Queen today received the Reverend Dr David Coulter upon relinquishing his appointment as Chaplain General Her Majesty’s Forces and the Venerable Clinton Langston upon assuming the appointment.
Major General Charles Vyvyan was received by Her Majesty and delivered up the Rod, Badge and Chain of Office upon relinquishing his appointment as Gentleman Usher of the Scarlet Rod of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath.
Major General James Gordon was received by The Queen upon his appointment as Gentleman Usher of the Scarlet Rod of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath when Her Majesty handed him the Rod, Badge and Chain of Office.

The Princess Royal was received this afternoon by The President of the Republic of Chile at la Moneda Palace, Santiago.
Her Royal Highness later attended the British Chilean Chamber of Commerce Environmental Innovation Awards Ceremony and Reception at The Prince of Wales Country Club, las Arañas 1901, la Reina, Santiago.
The Princess Royal subsequently attended a Reception for the British Community in Santiago and Santiago Institutions with British Connections at The Prince of Wales Country Club.
Her Royal Highness later visited the British Council’s Learning Time with Shaun and Timmy Centre for Young Learners, Candelaria Goyenechea 3900, Vitacura, Santiago.
The Princess Royal this evening attended a Department for International Trade Reception at the Residence.
Her Royal Highness afterwards attended a Dinner at the Residence given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Chile.
The Princess Royal, Fourth Warden, the Fishmongers’ Company, was represented by Lady Carew Pole (Lady in Waiting) at the Memorial Service for Lord Strathcona (Honorary Court Member) which was held in St Magnus the Martyr, Lower Thames Street, London EC3, this morning.
