COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

Her Excellency Ms Silvia Marchetti was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of San Marino to the Court of St James’s.

His Excellency Mr Albert Fotabong Njoteh was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Cameroon in London.

Mrs Fotabong was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The Queen received the Bishop of Truro (the Right Reverend Philip Mountsteven) who did homage upon his appointment.

The Rt Hon David Gauke MP (Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice) administered the Oath.

The Bishop of Carlisle (Clerk of the Closet) was in attendance.

The Queen held an Evening Reception at Buckingham Palace for the Diplomatic Corps at which The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were present.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon received a delegation of Church representatives from the Middle East.

His Royal Highness later attended a Service in Westminster Abbey, London SW1, to celebrate the contribution of Christians in the Middle East.

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, the Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centres Trust, this afternoon received Mr Ian Marchant upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mr Alan Eisner upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness, Commodore-in-Chief, Naval Chaplaincy Service, received the Venerable Ian Wheatley upon relinquishing his appointment as Chaplain of the Fleet and the Venerable Martyn Gough upon assuming the appointment.

The Duke of Cambridge, Honorary Air Commandant, Royal Air Force Coningsby, and The Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon held a Christmas Party at the Orangery, Kensington Gardens, London W8, for the children and young people of Royal Air Force Coningsby and Royal Air Force Marham.

The Duke of Sussex, Patron, Invictus Games Foundation, this afternoon attended a Trustees’ Meeting at Heron House, 4 Bentinck Street, London W1.

The Duke of York today carried out the following engagements in Hanoi, Vietnam.

His Royal Highness this morning opened the Craniofacialcentre, 108 Military Hospital.

The Duke of York today met the Minister of Education and attended an Education Reception given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (His Excellency Mr Gareth Ward) at the Residence.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Luncheon given by Mr Pham Minh Chinh (Politburo Member, Head Office of the Communist Party Central Committee) at 1 Hung Vuong.

The Duke of York later called upon Mr Nguyen Xuan Phuc (Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) at the Prime Minister’s Office.

His Royal Highness afterwards called upon Mr Pham Binh Minh (Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) at the Government Guest House.

The Duke of York this evening departed Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, for the United Kingdom.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today attended Receptions at St James’s Palace for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award.

His Royal Highness, Patron, British Ski and Snowboard Limited, this afternoon held a Meeting at Buckingham Palace.

The Earl of Wessex, Chancellor, University of Bath, this evening attended a School of Management Reception at 83 Pall Mall, London SW1.

The Countess of Wessex today visited Cornwall and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

Her Royal Highness this morning visited the Cornish Gouda Company, Talvan Farm, Lanreath.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon visited Operation Encompass and Kreslu Police Charity, Devon and Cornwall Police, Bodmin Hub, Tollgate Road, Bodmin.

Her Royal Highness later visited 505 (Wessex) Squadron, Royal Air Force St Mawgan, Newquay.

The Countess of Wessex, President, afterwards visited Truro Christmas Primestock and Produce Show, the Marquee, Lemon Quay, Truro.

The Duke of Kent this morning presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2018: Innovation to Monodraught Limited, Halifax House, Cressex Business Park, High Wycombe, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire (Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, Bt).

His Royal Highness afterwards presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2018: Innovation to Focusrite Audio Engineering Limited, Windsor House, Turnpike Road, High Wycombe.

The Duke of Kent this afternoon presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2018: Innovation to Trio Healthcare Limited, Missenden Abbey, London Road, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire.
