The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by The Earl of Wessex at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life and Ministry of the Right Reverend Peter Nott (formerly Bishop of Norwich) which was held in Norwich Cathedral, Norfolk, today.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Sir Nicholas Bacon, Bt.

The Duke of York was represented by Sir Richard Jewson.

The Princess Royal was represented by Miss Victoria Legge-Bourke.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Welsh National Opera, this evening attended a performance of Un ballo in maschera at Wales Millennium Centre, Bute Place, Cardiff Bay, Cardiff, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Mrs Morfudd Meredith).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the International Rugby Match between Scotland and Ireland at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
