Buckingham Palace

The Queen, Patron, this morning attended a Service at the Guards’ Chapel, Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1, to celebrate the Centenary of the granting by King George V of the prefix “Royal” to the Army Chaplains’ Department and was received by the Chaplain-General (the Venerable Clinton Langston) and the Rev Stephen Dunwoody (Senior Chaplain, London District and Chaplain to the Household Division).

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust, this morning visited the Trust’s Achieve Programme, Cwm Brombil School, Bertha Road, Port Talbot, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Glamorgan (Mr Byron Lewis).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Age Cymru, afterwards visited a cARTrefu project, Plas Bryn Rhosyn, Neath.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited the Rock UK Summit Centre, the Old Drift Mine, Trelewis, Treharris, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Mid Glamorgan (Dame Kathrin Thomas).

His Royal Highness later received the Rt Hon Mark Drakeford AM (First Minister of Wales).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited the National College for High Speed Rail, Carolina Way, Doncaster, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire (Mr Andrew Coombe).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Polypipe Building Products, Neale Road, off Wheatley Hall Road, Doncaster.
