COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace 

The Queen, Patron, accompanied by The Duchess of Cambridge, this morning opened Bush House, King’s College London, Strand, London WC2, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Chairman of the Council (the Lord Geidt) and Councillor Lindsey Hall (Lord Mayor of the City of Westminster).

Her Majesty, escorted by the Chairman of the Council, and Her Royal Highness, escorted by Professor Edward Byrne (President and Principal), toured the building, viewing a robotics demonstration and a virtual trading room, and met students, members of staff and supporters.

The Rt Hon Theresa May MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today carried out engagements in Barbados.

Their Royal Highnesses this morning called upon the Governor-General (Dame Sandra Mason) at Government House, Bridgetown.

The Prince of Wales, accompanied by The Duchess of Cornwall, afterwards laid a wreath at the Cenotaph, Heroes Square, Bridgetown, and subsequently presented the new Colour to the Barbados Coast Guard.

His Royal Highness later held a Meeting with the Prime Minister of Barbados (the Rt Hon Mia Mottley), Parliament Buildings, Bridgetown.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited Nidhe Israel Synagogue and Museum, Bridgetown.

His Royal Highness afterwards viewed a hurricane response demonstration at the Field Hospital, Garrison Savannah.

The Prince of Wales later visited Soroptimist Village and Hildegarde Weekes Activity Centre, Eden Lodge, St Michael.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Trust Group, subsequently attended a Reception at the Coral Reef Club, Folkestone.

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust Group, and The Duchess of Cornwall later received Mr Lionel Richie (The Prince’s Trust Global Ambassador).

Their Royal Highnesses this evening attended a Reception given by the Governor-General at Government House.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, the Big Lunch, this afternoon attended a Commonwealth Big Lunch at Derrick Smith School and Vocational Centre, Jackmans.

Her Royal Highness, President, WOW — Women of the World Festivals, afterwards attended a Reception at Ilaro Court, Bridgetown.

The Duchess of Cornwall later visited the Maria Holder Diabetes Centre for the Caribbean, St Michael.

Kensington Palace 

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, this afternoon visited the Foundling Museum, 40 Brunswick Square, London WC1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

The Duke of Sussex, President, African Parks, this morning received Mr Anthony Fitzjohn (George Adamson Wildlife Preservation Trust).

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning attended Meetings at Award House, 7-11 St Matthew Street, London SW1.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, British Wheelchair Basketball, this morning held a Meeting at St James’s Palace.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Lunch at the Caledonian Club, 9 Halkin Street, London SW1.

The Princess Royal, Perpetual Master, the Worshipful Company of Saddlers, this morning chaired the Freedom Court Meeting and attended a Luncheon at Saddlers’ Hall, 40 Gutter Lane, London EC2.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, English Rural Housing Association, this afternoon received Mr Adrian Maunders upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive and Mr Martin Collett upon assuming the appointment.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Opportunity International UK, this evening attended a Dinner at UBS AG, 5 Broadgate, London EC2.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Oakwood High School, Moorgate Road, Rotherham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire (Mr Andrew Coombe).

His Royal Highness later visited University Technical College, Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, 2 Old Hall Road, Sheffield.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited Springwell Learning Community, St Helen’s Boulevard, Barnsley.

His Royal Highness subsequently visited Community Shop Athersley, 156 Lindhurst Road, Athersley North, Barnsley.
