Windsor Castle
The Queen gave a Dinner Party at Windsor Castle this evening at which The Duke of York was present.
The following were invited: Her Excellency the High Commissioner for the Republic of Rwanda (Ms Yamina Karitanyi); Her Excellency the High Commissioner for Canada (Ms Janice Charette) and Mr Reginald Charette; His Excellency the Ambassador from Ireland and Mrs O’Neill; His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani; the Lord and Lady Hall; the Rt Hon Sir Alan and Lady Moses; Sir John and Lady Spurling; Canon Dr and Mrs Edmund Newell; Mr and Mrs Robin Budenberg; Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire and Mrs Puxley; Lieutenant Colonel and Mrs Mark Berry; Lieutenant Colonel and Mrs Edwyn Launders; and the Rt Hon Edward and Mrs Young.

The Prince of Wales today undertook engagements in Cumbria and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Mrs Peter Hensman).
His Royal Highness this morning visited Pirelli Tyres Limited, Dalston Road, Carlisle, to celebrate the Fiftieth Anniversary of the firm’s Carlisle factory.
The Prince of Wales this afternoon opened the new Windermere Jetty Museum of Boats, Steam and Stories, Rayrigg Road, Windermere.
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team, Low Fold, 1 Old Lake Road, Ambleside.
The Prince of Wales, Patron, Foundation for Common Land, subsequently attended a Meeting at the University of Cumbria, Rydal Road, Ambleside.
His Royal Highness later visited the Hawkshead Relish Company Limited, Esthwaite Old Hall Barn, Hawkshead, Ambleside, to mark the firm’s Twentieth Anniversary.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Transaid, this morning visited UniCarriers United Kingdom Limited, Jane Morbey Road, Thame, Oxfordshire, to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of the company, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire (Mr Timothy Stevenson).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Butler Trust, this afternoon visited the Operational Response and Resilience Unit, Evenlode Crescent, Kidlington, Oxfordshire.
The Princess Royal, Patron, Stroud Hospital League of Friends, this evening visited Stroud General Hospital, Trinity Road, Stroud, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Mr Edward Gillespie).
