The Queen held a Council at 12.40pm.
There were present: the Rt Hon Andrea Leadsom MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon James Brokenshire MP (Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government), the Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP (Secretary of State for the Home Department) and the Rt Hon David Lidington MP (Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Minister for the Cabinet Office).
Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.
The Rt Hon Andrea Leadsom MP had an audience of Her Majesty before the Council.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Foundation, this morning held an Education Meeting.
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, The Prince’s Foundation, afterwards held a Meeting for the Foundation’s School of Traditional Arts.
His Royal Highness this afternoon received the Rt Hon Matthew Hancock MP (Secretary of State for Health and Social Care).

Buckingham Palace
The Duke of York this morning arrived at Beijing International Airport and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China (Her Excellency Dame Barbara Woodward) and Mr Liang Jianquin (Vice President, Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs).
His Royal Highness this afternoon held a Meeting with Mr Yang Jiechi (Director of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission Office) at the Diaoyutai National Guest House, Beijing.
The Duke of York this evening attended a Meeting followed by a Dinner given by Mr Cai Qi (Party Secretary of Beijing) at No 56 Yunhe East Street, Tongzhou District, Beijing.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon held a Meeting at Buckingham Palace.
His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon attended a Meeting at The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, London Regional Office, Victoria Charity Centre, 11 Belgrave Road, London SW1.
St James’s Palace
The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Barrow 1618 Church of England Primary Free School, Barrow, Broseley, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire (Mrs Anna Turner).
Her Royal Highness, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, this afternoon visited the Perry Group and opened the Cavalier Centre, Bradley Farm, Farley, Much Wenlock, Shropshire.
The Princess Royal, Honorary President, Oxford Farming Conference, this evening attended a Reception at the Farmers Club, 3 Whitehall Court, London SW1, and was received by Mr Babulal Sethia (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
