The Earl of Wessex and Forfar this afternoon visited Tarves Heritage Centre, the Square, Tarves, Ellon, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr James Ingleby).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Haddo House Choral and Operatic Society, this evening attended Haddo Arts Festival at Haddo House, Methlick, Ellon.

The Princess Royal, Commodore-in-Chief, Portsmouth, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning attended a Service of Remembrance and unveiled a memorial stone to commemorate the Eightieth Anniversary of the loss of HMS ROYAL OAK, St Ann’s Church, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, followed by a Reception at HMS EXCELLENT, Whale Island, Portsmouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).
