The President of the Republic of Malta called upon The Prince of Wales this afternoon.

His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Gordon Highlanders, afterwards held a Meeting.

The Prince of Wales later received Dame Carolyn Fairbairn (Director-General of the Confederation of British Industry).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Burma Star Memorial Fund, this evening held a Reception at Clarence House.

The Duke of Cambridge, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, this afternoon received Ms Christiana Figueres (formerly Executive Secretary, UN Framework Convention on Climate Change).

St James’s Palace

The Countess of Wessex this evening departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for South Sudan.

The Princess Royal, President, UK Fashion and Textile Association, this morning visited Corgi Hosiery Limited, New Road, Ammanford, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed (Miss Sara Edwards).

Her Royal Highness, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, this afternoon attended a Celebration for the Fiftieth Anniversary of Riding for the Disabled Association in South Wales at Bridgend County Group, Bridgend College, Pencoed Campus, Pencoed, Bridgend, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Mid Glamorgan (Mr Peter Vaughan).

The Princess Royal later visited Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly Care and Repair, Unit 7, Roseheyworth Business Park, Abertillery, to mark its Thirtieth Anniversary, and was received by Mrs Susan Gwyer-Roberts (Deputy Lieutenant of Gwent).
