The Queen was represented by the Lord Ashton of Hyde (formerly Lord in Waiting to Her Majesty) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Rt Hon Dame Cheryl Gillan (formerly Secretary of State for Wales) which was held in St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, London SW1, today.

The Prince of Wales this evening attended the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony in National Heroes Square, Bridgetown, Barbados.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and The Countess of Wessex, Chairman, Women in Business Committee, this evening attended a Reception at McLaren Technology Centre, Chertsey Road, Woking, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mr Michael More-Molyneux).
