By command of The King, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) telephoned Her Excellency Mrs Mikaela Kumlin Granit today in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Sweden to the Court of St James’s.

The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon received Professor Eamon McCrory (Board Member, the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood Advisory Group) at Windsor Castle.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited the People’s Forest Project at Garvagh Forest, Garvagh, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Londonderry (Mrs Alison Millar).
His Royal Highness afterwards met members of the Royal British Legion and local community groups in Garvagh Village.
The Duke of Edinburgh later visited Downhill Demesne and Mussenden Temple, Mussenden Road, Castlerock, and was received by Mr William Oliver (Deputy Lieutenant of County Londonderry).
His Royal Highness this afternoon met representatives from Mae Murray Foundation and the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty at Portstewart Strand, County Londonderry.

The Princess Royal, President, this afternoon presented Prize Day awards at the Royal School Haslemere, Farnham Lane, Haslemere, and was received by Mrs Helen Bowcock (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Cathedrals in Pilgrimage, and The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Cathedral Music Trust, this morning attended a Service in Clifton Cathedral, Bristol, to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Consecration of the Cathedral and were received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs Peaches Golding).
Their Royal Highnesses today visited Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, Queens Road, Bristol, to mark the Two Hundredth Anniversary.
The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Cathedrals in Pilgrimage, and The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Cathedral Music Trust, this afternoon visited Bristol Cathedral, College Green, Bristol, to mark the Six Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the designation of Bristol as a County.
