The Princess Royal, member, International Olympic Committee, and chairwoman, International Olympic Committee Members Election Commission, this morning attended the International Olympic Committee session at Jio World Centre, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra East, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Her Royal Highness, member, International Olympic Committee, and chairman, International Olympic Committee Members Election Commission, this afternoon attended a meeting with Dr Thomas Bach (director general) at the Trident Hotel Bandra Kurla, Bandra Kurla Complex.

The Princess Royal later visited the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Bombay 1914-1918 Memorial at the Indian Sailors’ Home, Thana Street, Chinch Bunder, Mumbai.

Her Royal Highness subsequently attended a reception at the residence of His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for South Asia and Deputy High Commissioner for Western India in Mumbai.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning opened the Roman Garden at Butser Ancient Farm, Chalton Lane, Chalton, Waterlooville, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited University Technical College Portsmouth, London Road, Hilsea, Portsmouth, and was received by Colonel Charles Ackroyd (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire).

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards presented The King’s Award for Enterprise to Samvardhana Motherson Reflectec Automotive, Castle Trading Estate, East Street, Portchester, Portsmouth.
