The King this afternoon joined a Reception in Gloucestershire given by The King’s Foundation for individuals and organisations celebrating their Seventy Fifth Birthday and Seventy Fifth Anniversary.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, The Mercian Regiment, this morning received Lieutenant General Ian Cave (Colonel) and Brigadier Peter Dennis (Secretary) at Windsor Castle.

His Royal Highness, President, the Football Association, was present at the Funeral of Sir Robert Charlton (English professional footballer) which was held in Manchester Cathedral this afternoon.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Singapore.

Brigadier Alexander Potts is in attendance.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Ambassador, Women of the Future Programme, this evening attended the Kindness and Leadership Annual Lecture at the offices of KPMG, 15 Canada Square, London E14, and was received by Ms Nusrat Lilani (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Abbey Gateway and Ruins, Abbot’s Walk, Reading, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (Mr Andrew Try).

His Royal Highness today visited the Royal Berkshire Archives, 9 Coley Avenue, Reading, to celebrate its Seventy Fifth Anniversary.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited the Churches in Reading Drop-In Centre, St Saviour’s Church Hall, Berkeley Avenue, Reading.

His Royal Highness, Royal Patron, the British Museum, afterwards visited the British Museum Archaeological Research Collection, Cutbush Lane, Shinfield, Reading.
