The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, today carried out the following engagements in Wellington, New Zealand.
His Royal Highness this morning held a Reception at Wellington College, 15 Dufferin Street, Basin Reserve, for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award.
The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon attended a Business and Education Workshop at Kiwibank, 20 Customhouse Quay.
His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception at Government House to celebrate the Sixtieth Anniversary of the Hillary Award.

The Princess Royal, Patron, National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, this morning visited Gibraltar Citizens Advice Bureau, 10 Governor’s Lane, Gibraltar, to mark its Twentieth Anniversary.
Her Royal Highness later opened the renovated premises of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment Association at 122 Irish Town.
The Princess Royal afterwards met representatives of the Emergency Services and members of the Armed Forces at the Convent, 285 Main Street.
Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, subsequently visited specialist vehicles provider Bassadone Automotive Group, the Dockyard, 78 Queensway Road.
The Princess Royal, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Gibraltar.
Commander Anne Sullivan RN was in attendance.
