The President of the Republic of Korea this morning visited Shaping the Future: the United Kingdom-Korea Business Forum at Mansion House, London EC4, and was received by the Rt Hon the Lord Mayor (Alderman Professor Michael Mainelli), the Rt Hon Olukemi Badenoch MP (Secretary of State for the Department for Business and Trade) and Mr Jin Roy Ryu (Chairman, Federation of Korean Industries).
The President joined a Meeting with senior company representatives which was held by His Excellency Bang Moon-Kyu (Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy).
The President of the Republic of Korea afterwards visited the United Kingdom-Korea Science Forum at the Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1, and was received by The Duchess of Edinburgh, the President of the Royal Society (Sir Adrian Smith), the Rt Hon Michelle Donelan MP (Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology) and His Excellency Mr Lee Jong-ho (Minister of Science and Information and Communications Technology).
The President, accompanied by Her Royal Highness, viewed exhibits from the Royal Society Archives before listening to Presentations about the mission of science and technology and the importance of global co-operation, which was followed by a Panel Discussion.
The President of the Republic of Korea this afternoon visited 10 Downing Street where His Excellency viewed the United Kingdom-Korea Treaty of 1883.
The President had talks with the Prime Minister and remained to Tea, before Signing the Downing Street Accord: a United Kingdom-Republic of Korea Global Strategic Partnership.
The Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer MP (Leader of the Opposition), accompanied by the Rt Hon David Lammy MP (Shadow Foreign Secretary), the Rt Hon Angela Rayner MP (Shadow Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities) and Mr Mark Simpson MP (Head of International Policy) later called upon The President.
The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee this evening received an Address of Welcome and were entertained at a Banquet by the Rt Hon the Lord Mayor and the City of London Corporation at Guildhall.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.
The King held a Council at 10.30am.
There were present: the Rt Hon Penelope Mordaunt MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Oliver Dowden MP (Deputy Prime Minister, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Secretary of State in the Cabinet Office), the Lord Cameron of Chipping Norton (Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs), the Rt Hon Alexander Chalk MP (Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice) and the Rt Hon Alister Jack MP (Secretary of State for Scotland).
The Lord Cameron of Chipping Norton received the Seals of Office as Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, took the Oath of Office and kissed hands on appointment.
Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.
The Rt Hon Sir Clive Alderton (Principal Private Secretary to Their Majesties) was in attendance.
The Rt Hon Penelope Mordaunt MP had an audience of His Majesty before the Council.
Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton (Chief of the Air Staff) was received by The King this afternoon.
Chief Inspector James Fishwick was received by The King when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.
The King afterwards received Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown and Prince Radu of Romania.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, Joint Patrons, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this morning held a Reception at Windsor Castle.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, today carried out the following engagements in Sydney, Australia.
His Royal Highness this morning held a Reception at Government House for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award.
The Duke of Edinburgh afterwards attended a Meeting on Non-Formal Education at KPMG, Tower Three, International Towers Sydney, 300 Barangaroo Avenue.
His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Luncheon at KPMG.
The Duke of Edinburgh later attended a Reception at Government House for volunteers.
The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, Awareness Foundation, this morning attended a Conference at St Marylebone Church, 17 Marylebone Road, London NW1.

The Princess Royal this morning visited Retrotec Limited near Northiam and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex (Mr Andrew Blackman).
Her Royal Highness later visited Focus SB Limited, Castleham Industrial Estate, Napier Road, St Leonards-on-Sea, and was received by Mr Graham Peters (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex).
The Princess Royal, Commandant-in-Chief, St John Ambulance (Youth), this afternoon attended a Reception for Young Achievers at the Priory Church of the Order of St John, St John’s Square, London EC1, and was received by Mr Paul Herbage (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of London, this evening attended Foundation Day at Senate House, Malet Street, London WC1, and was received by Mrs Geraldine Norris (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
