Buckingham Palace

The King held a Reception at Buckingham Palace this evening to mark the Global Investment Summit.

The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeths’ Own), this morning received Lieutenant Colonel William Richmond upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Robin Davies upon assuming the appointment.

Her Majesty, Colonel-in-Chief, this afternoon planted a commemorative oak in Sandringham Estate in celebration of The late Queen Elizabeth II’s Seventy Five Years as Colonel-in-Chief of The Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeths’ Own).

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Tusk Trust, this evening attended the Tusk Conservation Awards at the Savoy, the Strand, London WC2.

St James’s Palace

The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning departed Heathrow Airport, London, for Colombia and was received later upon arrival at El Dorado International Airport, Bogota, by His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Colombia (His Excellency Mr George Hodgson).

Mr Alexander Stonor and Mrs Angus Galletley are in attendance.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this evening officially opened the Red Cross Christmas Market at Guildhall, London EC2.
