COURT CIRCULAR
Buckingham Palace
The King this morning visited the Coptic Orthodox Church Centre, Shephalbury Manor, Broadhall Way, Stevenage, and was received at the Cathedral of St George by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire (Mr Robert Voss), the Bishop of St Albans (the Right Reverend Dr Alan Smith), Archbishop Angaelos, Archbishop of London, and the Mayor of Stevenage (Councillor Myla Arceno).
His Majesty attended an Advent Service in the Cathedral and subsequently met members of the congregation and volunteers from the Church’s ministries at a Reception in the Cathedral Hall.
Mr Gareth Evans was received by The King this afternoon when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.
The King and Queen held an Evening Reception at Buckingham Palace for the Diplomatic Corps at which The Prince and Princess of Wales were present.

The Princess of Wales, Patron, Evelina Children’s Hospital, this morning opened the Children’s Day Surgery Unit at Evelina Children’s Hospital, Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1, and was received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London)
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, and The Duchess of Edinburgh, Global Ambassador, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Award Foundation, this evening held a Dinner.
St James’s Palace
The Princess Royal, President, the Mission to Seafarers Limited, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at All Hallows by the Tower, Byward Street, London EC3, followed by a Reception at Trinity House, London EC3.
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Gloucester this morning presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2022 to Building Heroes, County Hall, West Street, Chichester, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Sussex (the Lady Emma Barnard).
His Royal Highness this afternoon officially opened the Beach House Extension at Bognor Regis Museum, 25-27 West Street, Bognor Regis, West Sussex.
The Duke of Gloucester afterwards visited Pooley Sword, Highdown House, Cecil Pashley Way, Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex.
The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, 7th Battalion The Rifles, this evening attended a Carol Service in the Parish Church of St George, Hanover Square, London W1.
