The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Sri Lanka.

The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Anglian Regiment, this afternoon received Lieutenant General Sir Ralph Wooddisse upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel of the Regiment.
