The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today carried out engagements in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to commemorate the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of United Kingdom-Sri Lanka Bilateral Relations.
Her Royal Highness this morning visited the British High Commission Office, 389 Bauddhaloka Mawatha, to commemorate the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of United Kingdom-Sri Lanka Bilateral Relations.
The Princess Royal, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, later laid a wreath at Jawatte Cemetery, Torrington Avenue.
Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Vajira Pillayar Kovil Hindu Temple, Galle Road.
The Princess Royal, President, the English-Speaking Union of the Commonwealth, subsequently visited the British Council, 49 Alfred House Gardens.
Her Royal Highness, President, the Mission to Seafarers, this afternoon visited the Mission to Seafarers Colombo, 26 Church Street.
The Princess Royal later visited Hatch Works, Sir Baron Jayathilake Mawatha, Colombo Fort.
Her Royal Highness, President, the Mission to Seafarers, subsequently attended a Key Supporters Reception at the Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour, 368 Bauddhaloka Mawatha.
The Princess Royal this evening attended a Reception given by the British High Commissioner to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka (His Excellency Mr Andrew Patrick) at the Residence in Colombo to commemorate the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of United Kingdom-Sri Lanka Bilateral Relations.
