The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh afterwards visited Rising Brook Community Church, Burton Square, Stafford.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Livability, this morning visited New Court Place, 99 Whitehouse Avenue, Borehamwood, to mark its One Hundred and Eightieth Anniversary and was received by the Reverend Patrick Moriarty (Deputy Lieutenant of Hertfordshire).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened First Garden Cities Homes’ Sheltered Housing Scheme at John Coxall Court, Letchworth Garden City, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire (Mr Robert Voss).
The Princess Royal, Patron, the Butler Trust, later visited His Majesty’s Prison/Young Offenders Institute Aylesbury, Bierton Road, Aylesbury, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire (the Countess Howe).
