The King was represented by Professor Sir Huw Thomas (former Head of the Medical Household) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Reverend Professor Peter Brunt (former Consultant Physician to the Medical Household) which was held at The King’s Chapel of the Savoy, Savoy Hill, London WC2, this afternoon.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Irish Regiment (27th (Inniskilling), 83rd, 87th and The Ulster Defence Regiment), today visited the 2nd Battalion at Thiepval Barracks, Magheralave Road, Lisburn, County Antrim.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the International Rugby Match between Scotland and Ireland at Aviva Stadium, Lansdowne Road, Dublin, and was received by His Majesty’s Ambassador to Ireland (His Excellency Mr Paul Johnston).
