The Queen, Patron, National Literacy Trust, this afternoon visited Moreland Primary School, Moreland Street, London EC1, to celebrate the Trust’s Libraries for Primaries Programme and, having been received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), opened the School’s Coronation Library.

By command of The King, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Nguyen Hoang Long at 12-14 Victoria Road, London W8, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Court of St James’s.

The Prince of Wales this morning received the Lord Janvrin (Chairman, Queen Elizabeth Memorial Committee) at Windsor Castle.

His Royal Highness, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon received the Lord Hague of Richmond (Chairman) at Windsor Castle.

The Princess Royal, Commandant-in-Chief (Youth), St John Ambulance, was represented by Captain Sir Nicholas Wright RN at the Memorial Service for Ursula, the Dowager Lady Westbury (former Superintendent-in-Chief, St John Ambulance) which was held in the Guards’ Chapel, Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1, this afternoon.

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, was present at the Memorial Service for Ursula, the Dowager Lady Westbury (former Superintendent-in-Chief, St John Ambulance) which was held in the Royal Military Chapel, Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1, this afternoon.
