Buckingham Palace

The King, Patron, and The Queen this morning visited the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, 62-64 Gower Street, London WC1, to celebrate its One Hundred and Twentieth Anniversary and were received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), Mr Marcus Ryder (Chairman of Council) and Ms Niamh Dowling (Principal).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Chairman and Principal, viewed a performance in the black box theatre, visited the design studio and met students, alumni and members of staff in the cafeteria.

Ms Samantha Mostyn (Governor-General designate of the Commonwealth of Australia) was received in audience by The King this afternoon.

The Queen, Patron, SafeLives, this afternoon received Mrs Suzanne Jacob at Clarence House upon relinquishing her appointment as Chief Executive.

Her Majesty, Patron, National Youth Orchestra, received Mr Christopher Satterthwaite at Clarence House upon his appointment as Chairman of Trustees.

Ms Sarah Alexander (Chief Executive and Artistic Director) was present.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Honorary Member, the Oxford and Cambridge Club, and The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon attended a Lunch at the Oxford and Cambridge Club, 71-77 Pall Mall, London SW1.
