COURT CIRCULAR
Buckingham Palace
The King held a Council at 10.30am.
There were present: the Rt Hon Penelope Mordaunt (Lord President), the Rt Hon Victoria Atkins (Secretary of State for Health and Social Care), the Rt Hon Alexander Chalk (Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice), the Rt Hon James Cleverly (Secretary of State for the Home Department) and the Rt Hon Alister Jack (Secretary of State for Scotland).
Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.
The Rt Hon Sir Clive Alderton (Principal Private Secretary to Their Majesties) was in attendance.
The Rt Hon Penelope Mordaunt MP had an audience of His Majesty before the Council.
His Excellency Mr Rohitha Bogollagama was received in audience by The King this morning and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in London.
Mrs Bogollagama was also received by His Majesty.
His Excellency Dr Uran Ferizi was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Albania to the Court of St James’s.
Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.
The King and Queen were present at the Memorial Service for Sir Chippendale Keswick which was held at St Paul’s Church Knightsbridge, 32a Wilton Place, London SW1, today.
The Princess Royal was represented by the Earl of Dalhousie.
Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy was represented by Mrs Diane Duke.
His Majesty was represented by the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry KT (His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Donald Cameron of Lochiel (formerly Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Inverness) which was held at St Columba’s Church, Pont Street, London SW1, this afternoon.
The Princess Royal was represented by Mr Hamish Leslie-Melville.
The King was represented by General Sir Nicholas Parker (Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire) at the Funeral of Mr John Bush (formerly Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire) which was held at Edington Priory Church, Edington, Westbury, Wiltshire, this afternoon.
The Queen was represented by Mrs Peter Troughton.
The Princess Royal was represented by Captain Sir Nicholas Wright RN.
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited the Suffolk Show, Trinity Park, Felixstowe Road, Ipswich, and was received by Mr Robert Rous (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Suffolk).
The Duchess of Gloucester, also representing The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duke of Gloucester, was present at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Donald Cameron of Lochiel which was held at St Columba’s Church, Pont Street, London SW1, this afternoon.

The Duke of Kent, also representing Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy, was present at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Donald Cameron of Lochiel which was held at St Columba’s Church, Pont Street, London SW1, this afternoon.
