General Sir Patrick Sanders was received by The King at Buckingham Palace this morning upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief of the General Staff.

The President of the Republic of Zambia visited His Majesty at Buckingham Palace.

Mrs Hichilema was also received by The King.

The Queen honoured Ascot Races with her presence today.

The Duke of Kent, President, Royal National Lifeboat Institution, this morning received Mr Mark Dowie upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive and Mr Peter Sparkes upon assuming the appointment, at the Royal Thames Yacht Club, 60 Knightsbridge, London SW1.

His Royal Highness, President, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the Royal Thames Yacht Club for former Chairmen of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
