The Princess Royal, Member, International Olympic Committee, and Chairman, International Olympic Committee Members Election Commission, today attended the International Olympic Committee Session at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, 2 Place de la Porte Maillot, Paris, France.

Her Royal Highness, President, British Olympic Association, this evening attended a Reception in the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris, to welcome Team GB to the XXXIII Olympic Games and was received at the Residence of His Majesty’s Ambassador to the French Republic by Her Excellency Dame Menna Rawlings.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, Royal National Lifeboat Institution, this morning visited the new Dover Lifeboat Station, New Marina Curve Road, Dover, and was received by Brigadier Trevor Minter (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Kent).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Hornby Hobbies Limited, Westwood Industrial Estate, Margate, to commemorate the Company’s 70th Anniversary at the site and was received by Mr Frank Martin (Deputy Lieutenant of Kent).

The Duke of Kent afterwards visited the One:One Collection (owned and operated by the Locomotive Storage Company Limited), Westwood Industrial Estate, Margate.
