The King, Patron, the Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society, this morning received Mr Ian Watson (Chairman) and Mr Robert Gilchrist (Chief Executive Officer).

His Majesty, as Chieftain, this afternoon attended the Mey Highland Games, John o’ Groats, Caithness, and was received by the Chairman (Mr Andrew Sinclair).

St James’s Palace

The Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for France, and was received this evening upon arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris, by His Majesty’s Ambassador to the French Republic (Her Excellency Dame Menna Rawlings).
