St James’s Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chancellor, University of Bath, this afternoon received Professor Philip Taylor upon assuming his appointment as Vice-Chancellor.

The Princess Royal this afternoon attended Southampton International Boat Show at Town Quay, Southampton, and was received by Mr Oliver Crosthwaite-Eyre (Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, National Museum of the Royal Navy, later visited the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, Ilchester, to mark its Sixtieth Anniversary and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Mr Mohammed Saddiq).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Save the Children UK, this evening attended a Concert at Cheap Street Church, Sherborne, to mark Thirty Years of support from the Cambridge Choral Scholars and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset (Mr Michael Dooley).

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon visited Ulster Folk Museum, Cultra, Holywood, to mark their Sixtieth Anniversary and were received by Mrs Sara McCorkell (Deputy Lieutenant of County Down).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland, Castleview Road, Whitehead, Carrickfergus, to mark their Sixtieth Anniversary and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Antrim (Mr David McCorkell).

Her Royal Highness visited the Live Life Wellbeing Centre, Ballymacash Sports Academy, 10a Rushmore Drive, Lisburn, and was received by Mrs Ivy Goddard (Deputy Lieutenant of County Antrim).
