Balmoral Castle
The King this morning visited the Submarine Service, His Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde (Coulport), Dunbartonshire, and was received by the First Sea Lord (Admiral Sir Benjamin Key) and the Director Submarines (Rear Admiral Andrew Perks).
His Majesty was received with a Royal Salute.
The King toured a Submarine and met Serving Personnel and their families.
The Rt Hon Angela Rayner MP (Deputy Prime Minister) was received in audience by His Majesty at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire, this evening.
The King, Royal Founding President, The King’s Foundation, later held a Dinner at Dumfries House.
Kensington Palace
The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon visited Shelter Scotland Aberdeen, 29 Crown Street, Aberdeen.
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Union Kirk, 333 Union Street, Aberdeen, to meet those working in the homelessness sector.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Edinburgh this morning opened Learning Curve Group Limited’s new offices at 1-10 Dunelm Rise, Durhamgate, Spennymoor, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Durham (Mrs Susan Snowdon).
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Enter C.I.C. (a community engagement organisation), the Enter Centre, St Cuthbert’s Terrace, Dean Bank, Ferryhill, County Durham.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Federation of London Youth Clubs, this evening attended a Reception at Salesforce Tower, 110 Bishopsgate, London EC2.
The Duchess of Edinburgh, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, today carried out the following engagements in Zanzibar, accompanied by the British High Commissioner to the United Republic of Tanzania (Her Excellency Mrs Marianne Young).
Her Royal Highness this morning called upon The President of Zanzibar at State House, Kaunda Road.
The Duchess of Edinburgh later visited Mzambarauni Village.
