Balmoral Castle

The King, Royal Founding President, The King’s Foundation, today carried out the following engagements at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.

His Majesty this morning joined a Meeting with the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit, The King’s Foundation and The King’s Trust discussing youth opportunities.

The King today held a Reception for students who have graduated from the Foundation’s programme.

The President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana visited His Majesty this afternoon.

The King this evening received Mrs Kristina Murrin (Chief Executive Officer of The King’s Foundation) and Mrs Emily Cherrington (Deputy Chief Executive Officer).

His Majesty later held a Dinner at Dumfries House.

The Queen this evening attended the Braemar Literary Festival Dinner at the Fife Arms, Mar Road, Braemar, Aberdeenshire.

St James’s Palace

The Duchess of Edinburgh today carried out engagements in Arusha, Tanzania, accompanied by the British High Commissioner to the United Republic of Tanzania (Her Excellency Mrs Marianne Young).

Her Royal Highness this morning visited the Alliance of Bioversity International and the International Centre for Tropical Agriculture, Selian Agricultural Research Institute, Dodoma Road.

The Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon visited BIVAC bean processing factory, Njiro Road.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception at Arusha Lodge given by the British High Commissioner to the United Republic of Tanzania.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Beef Shorthorn Cattle Society, this afternoon attended a Members’ Development Day at Podehole Farm, Thorney, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mrs Julie Spence).

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester this morning visited Stablemates, 46 Knights Way, Tewkesbury, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Mr Edward Gillespie).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Wheatpieces Community Centre, Columbine Road, Walton Cardiff, Tewkesbury, and was received by Mr Roger Deeks (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

The Duchess of Gloucester later visited Tewkesbury Nature Reserve, 125 Queens Road, Tewkesbury, and was received by Ms Sybil Roscoe (Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Tewkesbury Abbey.
