St James’s Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Monaco.

Mrs Angus Galletley was in attendance.

The Duchess of Edinburgh today opened the Domaine Evremond winery, Chalk Hill, Chilham, Kent.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, this morning inaugurated the Loos British Cemetery extension and attended a Reburial Service of Unknown Soldiers at 121 Rue Roger, Salengro, before attending a Reception at the Town Hall, Place de la République, Loos-en-Gohelle, France, and was received by His Majesty’s Ambassador to the French Republic (Her Excellency Mrs Menna Rawlings).

Colonel John Boyd and Captain Fergus Lupton were in attendance.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, this evening attended a Dinner at Church House, Westminster, Dean’s Yard, London SW1, to mark the Thirtieth Anniversary of Sense International.

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Nestlé Purina Petcare UK Limited, Cromwell Road, Wisbech, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mrs Julie Spence).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Peckover House, North Brink, Wisbech.

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards visited Octavia Hill Birthplace House, 7 South Brink, Wisbech.
