His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Dragoon Guards, received Major General Timothy Hyams upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel and Brigadier James Carr-Smith upon assuming the appointment.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Past Master, the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, this afternoon attended a Luncheon of Past Masters at the Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, London W1.
His Royal Highness later received Mr Paul Mashatile (Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa).

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, this afternoon visited the Gurkha Allied Rapid Reaction Corps Support Battalion to mark the redesignation of 170 Headquarters Squadron at Imjin Barracks, Innsworth, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Mr Edward Gillespie).
