By command of The King, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Bruno van der Pluijm at 36 Belgrave Square, London SW1, this evening in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Belgium to the Court of St James’s.

The Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon received Her Excellency Ms Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner (Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of the Congo).

The Princess Royal this evening attended the Prison Advice and Care Trust’s One Hundred and Twenty Fifth Anniversary National Volunteer Awards at St John’s Church, Waterloo Road, London SE1, and was received by Mrs Lynn Cooper (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of Kent this afternoon visited the British Commercial Vehicle Museum, King Street, Leyland, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire (Mrs Amanda Parker).
