COURT CIRCULAR
Buckingham Palace
The following were received in audience by The King this afternoon and kissed hands upon their appointment as His Majesty’s Ambassadors: Ms Lisa Bandari (the Portuguese Republic and non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Cabo Verde), Mr Jonathan Hargreaves (the Republic of Kosovo), Mr Guy Harrison (the Islamic Republic of Mauritania) and Mr Gareth Ward (Georgia).
Mr Aly Baber Mawji, Mrs Wilson Hargreaves, Mrs Ann Van Dyjk and Mrs Ward were also received by His Majesty.
Mr Robert Tinline was received in audience by The King upon his appointment as British High Commissioner to Canada.
Ms Victoria Billing was also received by His Majesty.
The King and Queen held an Evening Reception at Buckingham Palace for the Diplomatic Corps at which The Prince of Wales was present.
Kensington Palace
The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this morning held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon held a Luncheon at St James’s Palace.
St James’s Palace
The Princess Royal this afternoon attended a Reception at Suffolk County Council Offices before opening the Gull Wing Bridge, Lowestoft, and was received by Mr Mark Pendlington (Deputy Lieutenant of Suffolk).
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited Donaghadee Moat and Camera Obscura, the Motte, Castle Street via East Street, Donaghadee, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Down (Mr Gawn Rowan Hamilton).
His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Royal National Lifeboat Institution Lifeboat Station, Storehouse, Donaghadee.
The Duke of Gloucester subsequently visited the Sir Samuel Kelly Lifeboat, the Common, Donaghadee.
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Kent, Patron, Bletchley Park Trust, this morning visited Bletchley Park, Sherwood Drive, Milton Keynes, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire (Countess Howe).
