COURT CIRCULAR

Mr Garry Marsden was received by The King this morning when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.
Mrs Katherine Marsden was also received by The King when His Majesty decorated her with the Royal Victorian Medal (Silver).
Today being the Feast of the Epiphany, a Service was held in the Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, when the customary offerings of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh were made on behalf of The King by Major General Matthew Sykes and Air Vice-Marshal David Murray RAF (Gentlemen Ushers to His Majesty).
The Bishop of London (Dean of His Majesty’s Chapels Royal) presented the Offerings, assisted by the Reverend Canon Paul Wright (Sub-Dean of His Majesty’s Chapels Royal), the Reverend Canon Thomas Woodhouse and the Reverend Canon Simon Bloxam Rose (Deputy Priests in Ordinary).
The King’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard was on duty in the Chapel.
