COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

Mr Keith Harrison was received by The King this afternoon upon his retirement as Director of Finance, Royal Collection Trust, when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

The King and Queen afterwards held a Reception at Buckingham Palace for newly elected Members of Parliament and ennobled Peers.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present. Subsequently, the Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.

Mr Christopher Fitzgerald was later received by His Majesty upon relinquishing his appointment as Deputy Private Secretary to The King when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Queen this morning joined the judging panel at Buckingham Palace to decide the winners of the BBC 500 Words creative-writing competition.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales, Founder and President, the Earthshot Prize, this morning visited NatureMetrics, 1 Occam Court, Surrey Research Park, Guildford, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mr Michael More-Molyneux).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning attended a Meeting at Blue Fin Building, 110 Southwark Street, London SE1.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Scientific Exploration Society, this evening attended a Reception at the Park Tower Knightsbridge Hotel, 101 Knightsbridge, London SW1.

The Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon received the Lord Collins of Highbury (Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Africa).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Australian Corps of Signals, this morning held a Meeting with Brigadier Deane Limmer (Head of Corps) via video link.

Her Royal Highness, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Brize Norton, later received Air Commodore Claire O’Grady upon relinquishing her appointment as Station Commander and Group Captain Louise Henton upon assuming the appointment.

The Princess Royal this afternoon departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Switzerland and was received upon arrival this evening at Geneva Airport by His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation (His Excellency Mr James Squire).
